There is no way the budget is "inexpensive" or "about $50 million"
Maybe $50 million was their target budget range, but after re-assembling the main cast for massive reshoots with an entirely different director, you can pretty much guarantee that the movie blew past well that. The key cast/crew claimed it was under $70 over a year ago at Comic Con 2009, which only helps emphasize that just about everything in this article came from that event.
I bet whatever the LA Times publishes around the release date of the film will be far more enlightening. It will also be all the more amusing considering that Warner's massively revamped slate for superhero films through 2012 will likely be announced just a month later... hopefully leaving Jonah Hex the last of the frightfully misguided adaptations sharing the movie graveyard with classics like Catwoman and Batman & Robin.
