6 - People know it will likely delist at 0 but also know in the 4 weeks until that happens the price will continue to rise

So why short it now?  Play the players, keep holding it long and then reverse position when the cashout day approaches.

Or stubbornly hold it short and watch the red number grow for the next month before it finally switches to green at the end.  But your profit will be much, much smaller than it would have been otherwise.

There are the possible reasons why Glass Onion stock is still going up on HSX Tallwonder Nov 27, 19:22

btw can it be clarified if it will delist tomorrow or in 3 weeks (wide release but off screens earlier)? {nm} Tallwonder Nov 27, 19:24

Whether or not it reports box office, it's still delisting in 3 more weeks cause it was a wide release. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Nov 28, 05:30

I think (4)..a lot of the price movements make no sense a lot of the time. {nm} Peter453 Nov 27, 19:25

there are also very few people left playing {nm} Moviesnob Nov 27, 19:27

Or maybe the Aliens are really stealing ALL our weed! {nm} Tallwonder Nov 27, 22:44

I asked at the theater and they said it was still playing for a few more days into this week before it gets yanked. {nm} goodvibe61 Nov 28, 00:34

I thought if BO was reported on a site like thenumbers it'll delist at that, but without official ERC numbers starbonds won't adjust... bsbbtnh Nov 28, 05:56

"If ERC does not report box-office for a film, alternate sources may be used." Was done with CHRLT and 2PT0, for instance. {nm} bsbbtnh Nov 28, 06:13

Almost certainly nothing to do with the actual value of the stock, just the human component of the market MattW Nov 28, 06:06

2 isn't insider knowledge, it's in the glossary. It's just that the unofficial sources are listed nowhere. It's all up to antibody. {nm} bsbbtnh Nov 28, 06:18

BOM has posted Glass Onion numbers, and in the past, movies with a gross on BOM delist at that price. Starbonds won't. {nm} bsbbtnh Nov 28, 06:21

Market operations should be transparent to traders, not dependent on the whims of the Glorious Leader execrated Nov 28, 07:13

It's not up to Dmac. It's up to Netflix and they are not reporting box office end of story {nm} Moviesnob Nov 28, 07:39

Looks like BOM, TN and likely ERC are reporting unofficial estimates . {nm} Antibody Nov 28, 07:50

those gueses aren't coming from Netflix (or rentrak) {nm} Moviesnob Nov 28, 07:57

What we need to know is just whether you will take their numbers for delist or not? {nm} Tallwonder Nov 28, 07:59

Yes, those numbers have been used in the past. {nm} Antibody Nov 28, 08:20

If ERC reports unofficial estimates, will starbonds adjust? {nm} bsbbtnh Nov 28, 08:01

Yes, if it's on the weekend actual charts. {nm} Antibody Nov 28, 08:22

I, for one, welcome our ant overlords. {nm} JHFHockey Nov 28, 08:18
