If I were WB I'd rather open it in the wake of what will be pretty good THE FLASH WOM vs hot toxic death AQUAMAN 2 WOM, likely stuck.
Right now it has a guaranteed IMAX release, whereas if it moves, it may lose it. August usually is kind to WOM films (screening reactions have been positive, but not THAT positive)
I'd still try and sneak preview it ala D&D, it won't have the negative baggage that D&D had.
