Yahoo: Dean Devlin talks his never produced sequel plans for Godzilla, Stargate and ID4-2 with Will Smith. notfabio May 19, 10:41

The animated series is "similar" in a sense to what he planned for #2, but not "canon" to the film. {nm} notfabio May 19, 10:54

ID4-2 & 3 with Will Smith - Hiller became a global celebrity and let himself go, has to get back into fighting shape again, Devlin blames AE {nm} notfabio May 19, 10:48

Also blames Fox for mangling ID4 Resurgence. They wanted to focus on the young pilots and downplay humor and Jeff Goldblum. {nm} notfabio May 19, 10:49

Stargate 2 would explore Mayan Pyramids. 3 sounds terrible, involving Yeti and Loch Ness Monsters. {nm} notfabio May 19, 10:52
