the RT score got that wrong, and who knows whether they'll get this right.
For me, you can make zero judgements until you start to see significant AUDIENCE SCORES. Now THAT tells me something.
And there are many many movies where there's a significant difference between critics average score and audience average score.
And: based on everything I've seen so far about this movie, I do NOT believe that it's going to be as negatively regarded by fans as the last movie. No way, I don't even believe that. But we'll see, who really knows. You have a zillion "fans", hardcore fans who will tell you all about how Force Awakens sucks, that's it's pure fan satisfaction and all that. I LOVE that film with all my heart. And millions of other people did too.
If this movie had NOT played at Cannes it would even be a little different. But it DID play there, of all places, first.
Let's wait and see.
