It just feels like it's time to put any of this other, similar stuff to bed. Immediately.
There are going to be way, way more Barbie movies. This is a franchise. The success and entrance into the pop culture pantheon guarantees this. And kudos to Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig for making this happen. But we're undoubtedly going to see more Barbie, a Ken movie, and who knows what else (Skipper, Stacie, etc.), and the blockbuster success of this first movie guarantees an audience for these subsequent films. Will there be enough room for others?
