maybe I should wait til Nikki "refines" that number, but still, seems to me

that is a low number, no? Hard to believe a summer day cant beat a november school day. And yes, it still can pick up big over the weekend, but nothing from new moons performance suggests thats possible. even summit seemingly downplayed its chances, predicting a low $150M for the 6 days.

Perhaps poor quality may have caught up to the franchise? I just cant believe twihards have decided to wait until the weekend to see this.

just my 1 1/2cents

DL: Estimating 65M for Wednesday incl. middies. TWIL3 of course. grammar Jul 01, 02:00

30M for midnights, 35M for the rest of Wednesday.. ? Were there no midnight shows last night - vampires mostly come out at night.. :-)) {nm} Facto Jul 01, 02:09

That's frontloading for ya, everyone that was interested saw it at the first midnight showing. ;-) {nm} Skauge Jul 01, 02:13

Well, come to think of it, last night's middies will only count towards Thursday grosses, not the Wednesday ones showed here... ;-) {nm} Facto Jul 01, 02:19

I have a feeling that a large % of the midnight audience will go again this weekend at least once TheSureThing Jul 01, 05:33

Oh, definitely {nm} Facto Jul 01, 06:10

Yes Indeed, My 12yr old and her friends are second viewing on this holiday weekend. Me 49, I might go back :) {nm} MrsRobinson Jul 01, 06:33

But will it be enough.. ? I do expect a Friday bump, though. And haven't many people been working evening jobs - summer jobs? They'll see it Facto Jul 01, 06:59

maybe I should wait til Nikki "refines" that number, but still, seems to me islander Jul 01, 03:55

I think this could be a short then... Probably 21 million Thursday and around $90 million for four-day weekend {nm} secretstalker Jul 01, 04:13

Some of us are hoping for that. :) {nm} grammar Jul 01, 04:27

K, I have a secret... please don't tell anyone... secretstalker Jul 01, 04:31

SS... living up to his name.. Secrets-talker.. ;-)) {nm} Facto Jul 01, 04:36

I'm like the male version of Salt... only sexier! :) {nm} secretstalker Jul 01, 04:37

The triple-play! Diabolical! {nm} RogerMore Jul 01, 04:45

I think the commission I spent reversing TWLI3 eats up any profits I may make. {nm} secretstalker Jul 01, 04:52

Likely a good move and I suggest you shouldn't wait so long in the future. grammar Jul 01, 04:53

I was always thinking an adjust between 290 and 300 though so I didn't think I'd make much money either way {nm} secretstalker Jul 01, 05:19

On those numbers, it would still a slight long. 65+21+90*2.2 = 302 {nm} RogerMore Jul 01, 04:55

Scchaaa-WEEEET!! I still say this is a midnight movie, so we should wait and see what midnight screenings did last night - or were there any Facto Jul 01, 05:14

Threw that 90 mil out there without doing any math... more like 88 million. {nm} secretstalker Jul 01, 05:28

Sorry.. I did the math.. I just didn't use a calculator. {nm} secretstalker Jul 01, 05:29

lets see...carry the one...divide by q...i get 284 (a short) islander Jul 01, 05:37

Heh - this is what comes of doing simple math while I'm still half asleep :) {nm} RogerMore Jul 01, 06:47
