It was supposed to release in August, got quietly pushed to MLK Jr Weekend a few months ago.

I do think it will do well there. I think they might choose to debut the first teaser for The Electric State and or Axel Foley this week but may choose to hold both depending on when they actually plan to release them (and Netflix may not want to push an Eddie Murphy film while Amazon is pushing his Candy Cane Lane for December 1st).
