That article, talking about him starting in a video store; Imagine QT feeling like this guy about film.

Quentin Tarantino is obviously the single greatest film artist you think of, when thinking of people that started out in a video store. Video Archives, South Bay; what that meant to him, his legacy, the dialogue about film, the watching of movies at home vs. in the theater, what each of them MEAN in relation to the art of film. 


Could there possibly be a larger chasm, a larger CANYON between philosophy on the history of film art, the history of the role of theatrical versus TV, home video, streaming, Quentin and this bean counter? 

Could there be? 

To put it in perspective, NOBODY has a greater love of film than Tarantino. And he's spent untold hours, days, weeks, months, watching movies in ways other than a theater with an audience. 

And he KNOWS, from the bottom of his heart, that film art is more sacred than just the business, particularly the business of distributing artists' work on wristwatches and phones. 

It's just sickening to hear this movie troll talk about film the way he does. 

He literally has zero understanding of the whole Barbenheimer magic last year. He simply is either too stupid to understand the nature of it, or he's too much of a dick to admit it.
