Not a great example since it was released during COVID but I do remember how well The Father did at the Oscars (screenplay/actor) even though I didn't see it getting pushed nearly as much as things like Ma Raimey's Black Bottom (which many thought Chadwick Boseman would win a post-humous Oscar for)
