Good show tonight. They really went for Anora in a huge way. Congrats to Sean Baker and that film.

Sean Baker has won 4 times as many Academy Awards as Martin Scorsese. Twice as many as Quentin Tarantino. Those are probably two of the most influential filmmakers of the past 40 years, and he blew by them in a couple of hours. And for Anora. Wow. That's how it works. 


I'm ecstatic for Flow. I hope it causes many more people to at least give the film a look. 

I thought the Wicked songs that opened the show were just tremendous, they really got the broadcast off to a flying start. And Conan was very good, really funny throughout. A well done show, although it just went forever. 

Loved seeing Mick Jagger out there giving a music award, and loved the little tribute the winner of that award gave him when she got up on stage. Lovely. It's the little things. 

I loved the winners' tributes to goin to the movie theater. Just wonderful stuff. All these people trying to make movies these days, they know the score. Baker's been echoing Quentin's sentiments for some time now. Nice to see.
