Warner Bros 2024 Loss: $11b+, 2024 share performance: -9%, CEO Zaslav total salary: $51.9m (+4% YoY)

A large part of why the movie biz will always face issues. The CxOs.
He took $49m in 2023 in another big loss year for WB. That's $100m+ over 2 years the biz struggled to stay afloat, looking to sell off/restructure assets.
Retail & some institutional investors voted against his pay. He's getting it anyway 'coz they're a minority.
Most big studios meanwhile have been letting some staff go at lower levels.
