So...I gave LONG DISTANCE (aka DISTANT) a shot on Hulu, and well.....while I am glad it at least has a domestic release now...

I can also see why Universal never gave it a US theatrical release (it was hinted that test audiences were brutal to it),  there's about 25 minutes that are 

actually pretty good (the opening and the final act), but the majority is a tough sit even at 90 minutes due to it never settling on a tone.
