Man of steel was in a tough spot coming right on the heels of iron man 3, and it didn’t help when the 2014 big CBMs all made over $700m. Superman is coming after Cap4 and thunderbolts, and black Adam as you said being the most recent DC one, the scene looks quite a bit different now.
