He's probably the most in-demand genre filmmaker at the moment, and he's previously expressed interest in doing something DC (wether it's the Batman henchmen thing, or whatever.) If Paramount people nail that down, and Gun didn't want it, wouldn't he be revealing himself as unfit for the gig?
