30mil in limited release? NO. 30mil after opening limited and expanding wide? Probable. It happens.
Look last year at PRECIOUS. Was priced around $30 when it opened in 18 theatres, did really well, went wide and delisted at $40mil.
Then again, look 2 months ago at BURIED. Priced at $34 when it opened in 11 theatres with big expansion plans. Wide release never came to fruition, only made 1 mil to date.
So it's your gut call - invest accordingly.
