Stock drop prior to Movie Premier

Hi All,

I'm new to this site, so I apologize if this is a stupid / probie question.

Why do some movie stocks drop IMMEDIATELY prior to it's premier? Is this due to a massive

cash infusion from an advertising / trailer blitz?

Box office sites/blogs make predictions. Some are based on tracking and some are opinion. They are posted here and cause volatility. Austinmh Mar 07, 21:05
