TMAGU is no longer attached to LIFPI (from Movies board) but here is an interesting math problem for those who do not "get" StarBonds...
Current TAG is just under 130. SBSCT will drop out, taking out 120 in box. GATSB is next in, currently valued at 85 (but could be going up between now and the holidays) but currently the StarBond will lose 35 in box, or about 7 in the TAG.
That makes the EAP about 123. BUT since the current value of TMAGU is way under the TAG (by about 34) it makes this a long. EAP currently is about 122 and change. (From KaiGee's plug ins on the TMAGU page. dROI is low, so no sweat.
(BTW if the next movie into the TAG was some indie with very little boc, the most the TAG could have lost was 24, 120/5, so 130-24 is 106. That means the StarBond is "ARB" the moment that one ticket is reported. The rest is gravy)
Note: LIFPI is currently about 58 and had TMAGU not been detached, the EAP would have been about 117 so GATSB is a bigger long
What we all lost out on was a 33 point drop about a month later, as SPID2 would have dropped out of the TAG. That will just have to wait for another day. But barring catastrophe, that day WILL come.
