I have nothing else really to say about the matter.
HSX is more than simply a game. Part of what makes the game so addictive is that HSX has become a community and over the years we have seen each other grow up, graduate, get married, have kids, get promotions, suffer losses, etc...
I log in each day to get movie news and play the game and I log in just as much to hear slappydavid's next one liner, mike255's next bonehead post, see what movies islander saw this last week and which of my friends have had milestones in the game.
My friends (and HSX family) don't care if I misspell something here or there and I don't mind if they do it either. I run an HSX fansite in my free time which I have very little of. I had lots of free time when I started but my life has gotten busy the last few years. I have thought about shutting down the site a few times, but it makes my HSX family happy and helps them to enjoy the game so I continue on.
RotoHockey has made it very clear from the first day that I became aware of him that he is not really interested in joining and/or participating in our HSX Family/Community. He is an attention seeker and wants to show how much better he is than the rest of all of us. He is the immature little kid who puts his hand in your face and when you ask him to stop he responds that he isn't actually touching you. I don't really have time for that crap anymore. He is constantly advertising that he needs attention... that makes him a human commercial. I change the station when commercials come on (or leave the room and do something productive until the commercials are over).
RotoHockey used to get under my skin and get me angry. Somebody else (the name we don't speak) in my past who played HSX was really good at that and I realized that RotoHockey is not even in the same league as the nameless one. The joke is that he is trying to fill that spot. That jersey has been retired. RotoHockey has helped me to control my anger by talking about himself in the third person (aka "THE ROTO"). When he calls himself "THE ROTO" it reminds me of the Sherminator from the American Pie movies. It makes me laugh. RotoHockey is no longer "the nameless one jr", he is the Sherminator and that makes me laugh instead of getting mad.
Pitty we have to waste all this board space because of this crap. I would rather spend my time with my HSX Family/Friends who treat me with respect and dignity.
