when I get out of bed at whatever, 8am (at best), it's early afternoon Pacific time - so most of the day's news has already had its first effect on the price, and the secret sauce regulator thingy has kicked in ...
I meant that even though MWILL's dROI wasn't going to be awesome in this case, it's utterly predictable that half the exchange would buy up the stock as soon as RH's IPO post was made ... if I was on the same timezone, I would have bought it too, and probably sold it off a few hours later - she went up from about $20 to about $23 in the 5-6 hours after RH posted - that's pretty great dROI. Such are the kind of lucrative short-term trades one cannot make when one's asleep.
I'm not really complaining, though ... when it's reset it's about 7pm here so very convenient for me to trade :) I haven't got a hope of getting the popular IPO's before they sell out, however ... they're up at about 3 or 4 am and I am *not* a morning person. Play a game that's specifically about the USA, play it on the USA's time, right? It just requires different strategies - there are plenty of people on here playing from different timezones.
