it does appear that way, or at least they are trying to distance themselves from that market. however, what major strides in content
streaming are they going to make in the short term? they aren't going to get the new releases up any faster without charging more money.
I dropped the streaming when the increase came and dropped them officially Friday before this release.....very glad I did. went back to BBuster, but I know that isn't a long term solution.
I know 8 Netflix members that are close knit group of guys. As of yesterday only 1 remains a Netflix member.
oddly, he will be dropping Netflix and most likely joining Qwikster (streaming from other sources). he also has 5 shares of NFLX remaining (down from 110 he bought when he first heard about them). he was one of their pioneer members when Hastings was mailing them from his garage and it took a week to get there. it's killing my buddy that this is happening, he had so much faith in them.
oh well. we'll see how it plays out but I know they lost my business in the short term and (probably for the long term).
