Sincerely, I'd take Spanish first.
Unless you want to come in Quebec or go in France or Switzerland. Even in Quebec, you go at Montreal and everyone speak English. If you want to please Quebecers, just learn a few words, and then we'll be happy :P. Spanish can be more useful in USA than French (my guess...) and in many countries in South America. But once you'll have learned one, the other one will be easy (they have lots of similarities). Your call ;).
