Agreed, but he was the face. IDK why there is opposition to a post that I made about an American hero.
Simply, when I was told I could be anything I wanted to be it was not president, singer, actor, athlete or any other profession. Children in my state wanted to be an the next Armstrong. It could be that my early years were spent in Enid, OK and that is where Vance AFB is located and we had the chance to see the Blue Angels every year.
If I am alone in my opinion, fine. It does make me curious who their childhood heros were?
