I don't see any opposition in this thread at all. I see agreement and clarification, but no opposition.
You asked, "Has anybody ever done as much as that man?", and the answer is "yes" - and I was careful to note that even though others have done "as much as that man" for humanity's progress, none of that takes away from Neil's accomplishments.
I don't see how this could be construed as opposition to your statement. Merely a response to your question.
