I thought it was a fabulous episode....(spoilers)
got in late last night and burned through the last two episodes, finished at around 3am EST.
the entire final episode you see him staring off. his deep thinking has him regretting so much of what has happened and asking himself how/why. on top of that, he does love his family and to ignore them any further would have people start to question what is really going on in that house where the kids are no longer allowed?
Skylar did a great thing. the stack of uncountable money helped push him to the unanswered question of, "when is enough, truly enough"? that moment from her came at the perfect time.
all that said, we don't really know if he is out, or if he has Todd cooking for him, etc. etc. Gilligan made a point to show that the operation had finally started working as Walt had always envisioned. it could now be on autopilot, we just don't know.
the Hank realization was perfect and one I had expected to hit by the end of this half season. how much longer could they go without Hank finally taretting Walt? I think how he came about finding out was genius as well. a complete mis-step by W.W. :)
I couldn't be more thrilled and psyched about the 2nd of half of the final season, some 10 months from now. but that is just me.
