US is NASCAR country. We have F1 in Montreal, but I've never been. Hard to get tickets.

Also, it's hard for spectators, unlike NASCAR, which just goes round and round, and you can get a good view in the stands. F1 is much more suitable fot TV viewing.

I don't think F1 gave them much choice about the timing, or else the conflicting schedule with the NASCAR season finale would seem gutsy... slappydavid Nov 17, 20:18
