The new format takes some getting used to, but all the pieces start falling into place once you get past all the character re-intro's
The series does continue with the following of mostly one character per episode. A lot of the teases throughout start paying off much later.
This series was *definitely* planned with the Netflix bulk viewing in mind. There's no way anyone could keep the early episode hints, teases, and throwaway lines in mind if the episdes came out weekly.
They had to have shot all the episodes in chronological (in terms of screen story) order, and then edited all 15 at once to chop them up. Pretty crazy task.
hate to post and run, but one more thing... Arrested Development 4.0.... ouch. man did I want to really love that show. May 28, 23:41
