this is unlikely to improve. The best players end up playing basketball and football. Can you imagine a striker line of Lebron and
Calvin Johnson? Midfielders of Adrian Peterson and Westbrook? Defenders like Ray Lewis and JJ Watts? We would dominate. Tim Howard can still play goalie.
Things are better with Klinsmann in charge. But we have done this in 3 out of 4 world cups (one year was BAD). we're not going to be in the top tier until the developmental programs have the best after they turn 14.
Dont get me wrong. I LOVE the team we have and the way they played this year. But I dont expect us to compete until futbol can develop top tier talent.
