I'm a fan of his & Lars Von Trier that definitely did some graphic coverage in ANTICHRIST...interesting coincidence (inside)
that Lars was in a deep clinical depression & medicated on alcohol for a very long time (years) all because of a woman - and after that period ANTICHRIST was hatched, which the excellent (some of the best cinematography I've seen in modern times) film very much portrays a woman and her natural sexual powers over man to be wicked and evil...Interesting timing is all... I'm a fan of NOE's, I think you can have a dispute about Irreversible & what kind of violence it could inflict upon a certain individual, I mean it elicits hate & stirs violence into you and shows how this world you born into is a piece of $%&T (Nietzche philosophy is all underlying & Present)...I'm anticipating his films cause he technically pushes boundaries with cinema...Irreversibles+Enter the void (I love that credit intro!) did some camera + technical techniques that are a first of its kind, he's a trailblazer of cinema in my book but the content he displays+covers (I'm not for censorship in any ways, quite the opposite) could be debated...It's some sick sh*T - his first film contained incest & pimping out a prepubescent daugther in his own apt...But Hey, you if you watch the news or read the news, you can easily be disturbed by the sick people that walk amongst us & that's nonfictional reality!
