Some how, some way, he came back on the field at far less than 100% and was able to manufacture a drive. The Steelers merely let the Bengals take care of it themselves at the end.
The lack of professionalism by Bengal players was despicable. There are also a few other things i really want to point out.
What really makes things gray regarding the whole meltdown is the fact that Bengal players got hot once Steeler Lineback concussed a Bengal player and it was NOT flagged. The game was already way past chippy, and that non call, a decision the NFL makes from time to time and I clearly do not understand the details of, was a huge factor in what set some of the Bengal players off.
One other thing: Bengal fans throwing stuff at Big Ben after he's being carted off due to injury? Shameful by Bengal fans. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
They're going to have to fire Marvin Lewis. And when an organization decides to play with those players, well, this is what happens. Even after the game was over and the meltdown was complete, the reaction by those same Bengal players tells you everything you need to know. Those guys don't get it, and they never will.
