so a couple songs from closing credits of two films I watched the other night....

Had never heard this before and really loved it. Bought it instantly. Song was from The Phenom and the movie ended abruptly with this song to follow.... quite fitting to the scene and overall film.
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Sinister Purpose (1969)

I watched these films back to back and oddly, this song was released the same year. Same setup in the film Green Room, an abrupt ending with this song instantly following and fitting to the tone of the film.
If I had ever heard this song, I didn't remember. It was such a well timed song, I instantly bought as well.
Maybe a couple of classics some of you are familiar with already or might enjoy if you haven't. Hard to believe they are almost 50 years old.
