This nursing home is part of a hospital system. With hospital across the street. Who else did they call? What was their backup plan?
If you call the fire dept and no one comes to you sit there and let everyone burn to death? Plan B right across the street.
Staffed by aides and LPNs that cannot make decisions with out admin. permission - how many staff were in the facility that day ? ...2/2?
This falls on the administrators of the nursing home. Apparently there was a no plan B.
Incompetent staff did their part, watching people die instead of providing available local care literally right next door.
