i quit Voyager after season 4. Whichever was 7 of 9's first season. I went back years later and watched a group of episodes from 5-7 including the finale, but could never get into the writing and I thought the most interesting characters (Torres, Paris, Chacotay) were under used to do Borg stories or Doctor stories and the Doc ones were the exact same ideas as Data/Odo "other" episodes from other series. Still was more than Enterprise where I quit after 1 seasons and Discover where I was waiting until Blu Ray but I will probably skip altogether now.
I get why prequels are popular, but only one (Better Call Saul) is doing it well enough where I feel the story is rich and its going to place thats both what a I know and has lots of new possibilites. I can see the BCS narrative even continuing past when Breaking Bad starts. Its like the prequel part of Godfather 2 - things are theumaticly relevant but its entirely its own story.
