such a dumb move. Clearly the writers don’t even know how a proper, compelling narrative works. For a show that is soooo dark/nihilistic/despair-y, you have to always give viewers a sense of hope, that a positive outcome will eventually happen, because, despair with no hope becomes too antithetical to what a human being can endure emotionally. Rick, the lead, can now never have that truly positive end result, and that’s just wrong. Not saying Coral is the greatest character or anything, but from a why-do-we-watch-dramas aspect, this move could really sink the show.

or maybe he just snagged a fence that happened to be shaped like a mouth
