Here is what I think...
Survivor is usually boring until it isnt. Sounds weird to say, but the first couple episodes of every season are boring because you are just getting to know a large group of people and alliances are just getting formed and nothing big is happening.
When you get past those first couple episodes, then it starts to get really interesting because now you know the players, you know the alliances, and the players start form new alliances, hunger sets it, players reveal who they really are and players start have problems with other players and the game introduces new twists and turns that catch everybody by suprise.
Last season was a lot of fun!
