Truly, the laziest possible way to make a statement. And now we know his true motivation - money. He's making more as a supposed activist than he ever would as a football player. If he played in the AAF and was exposed as a lower tier player, his mystique would be gone. In order to maintain his income, he has to stay off the field. He won't try to work his way back because he knows he doesn't have the desire or the ability. He doesn't give a sh.. about you or your cause. He's only in it for the attention and the money and himself.

He wasn't trying to start a movement. He was picking up a quarter off the field.
