as saddened as we are in Indy, many of us are happy for Luck, or at least wish he and his family peace. cool story inside...

My best friend wrote a post late Saturday night about Luck (and their son who was diagnosed with Cancer at 3 years old) then put it out on FB.  It went viral locally.  Please read if you get time:

The local Fox/CBS news is doing a story on their family with Luck today, as a result.

This was an inspiring reminder that football is merely a game.  You only get one life to live.  If you're LUCKy enough to live it free and clear being happy, with financial freedom, by all means, live your life.

Sports is an obsession for so many of us.  I gave up my Pacers season tickets a couple years back because watching guys play basketball making $40-50M a year doesn't rank high up on my priority list these days.  I still enjoy following, but let the corporations pay for those salaries.

We'll rise again in Indy, both teams are young and will come up with smart management in place.  Patience is required.

We have to acknowledge the human element in sports and commend those who use their platform for good! {nm} I’m Batman Aug 26, 10:26
