Doing my first rewatch of Lost. S1-5 down, starting S6. It binges well. Using ad free Hulu for it. (Will be free on IMDb tv in May iirc)
S1 was 25 episodes! Almost all of it vital/compelling. Compare to today's streamers that are like 8 eps long and feel like filler from the start. Show holds up, looks great. (Some iffy but not off putting cgi in later seasons) Surprised by how little Island Mystery there was in S1, mostly character stuff that really makes the big moments later that much more special.
S2 a bit too much hatch and of course things go bad for the tailies. RIP Mr. Eko he and his flashbacks were pretty great at times.
S3 first 6 eps were kinda rough but the end of S3 then 4,5 was really good. Some slow patches sure but more than enough fun or powerful moments.
Its so much easier to follow since I knew generally what was happening and getting the answers in a few hours as opposed to weeks/months/years.
Id really forgot how fun the music is throughout. And also how great Jack and Lockes dads were.
and Rose and Bernard made things get dusty every damn time on screen :)
Only criticism is sometimes the women characters aren't treated as well
