Yea...US had 1.1 MILLION covid cases in 7 days, worst in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE (probably.) Even accounting for population....
now up to #19 worst, w 3,449 per million over the last 7 days. (Its already #1 worst over the entire pandemic.) The only other tiny countries worse...of more than 10mil pop...is Malaysia and Cuba. Both over 4,000 per Mil this week. US absolute worst in the ENTIRE WORLD of large countries, even accounting for population, and worst overall. Even getting 50% vaccinated, doesn't do much when 1/3 are not, and when half are wandering around like its 1956.
Another great nugget: deaths per Mil last 7 days...up to 33rd worst in the world...at 26 per Million dying EVERY day....tied with Botswana and Thailand. (x300 milion people....= worst in the world in overall deaths at over 8,000...already worst in the world overall....entire towns worth of people wiped out in a matter of days.)
