I am only 35 so take it for what it is worth, but the kid hit 600 homers despite being chronically hurt. He had range, speed, arm, all of it. 20 years from now you are going to hear the same things about him that you hear about Jim Brown in the NFL. a Hall of Famer that you still say what could have been, albeit for different reasons. We wouldnt even be talking about bonds(yes the lower case was for a reason) or the asterisk if Junior woulda stayed healthy. No one questions the validity of his numbers. Had he stayed healthy, the record would be in the 850-875 range. Thank you Junior for everything you brought to baseball. Even admist a dark time in the sport you brought style and class. As a new father, my son will be learning from the example u have set.
