But I'm mostly looking for something to present in an NGO social night (we are currently focusing on Central Asia, as it's a region with not much focus on human rights). We saw one film in the spring this year, Tajiki social realism/arthouse drama Angel on the Right (Fararishtay kifti rost), from 2002. Looking for something in that vein - something that offers a glimpse of realities and surrounding in the post-Soviet era in this populous, distinct region (that is curiously ignored politically, despite great challenges - as witnessed most recently this spring and summer in Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek, etc.):
