I've never seen one of these rock with a close approach of 8.0E-4 before. This one does. From the orbit screen switch from 1 Day to 1 Hour and start clicking to get there. at present or post time 25 clicks will get you there.
While it's listed as small and fairly slow, and 1/3 of the way between Moon and Earth, the trajectory is kind of short too, there is this thing called a keyhole. An object passing through the keyhole should orbit the planet for 5 days and then impact. And, NASA isn't the most accurate place for space related facts. For all I know the rock was discovered afterwards, the size listed is only what they saw, and that this thing is moving at higher rate of speed.
I checked out the spaceweather and Sun is plastered with active fields. However, I didn't notice any CME's in the past few days, and any update may be posted in a day or two. A CME is a mass ejection. Period. And I would lean towards particles moving close to the speed of light. But I'm funny like that.

Please be on the look out for large meteors and fireballs over the next few days. I'm really hoping for a show. I've seen 3 asteroid/meteor coinsidences in the past with one preceeding and following a major volcano eruption.

Good luck, and may the skies light your way!
