thanks.  i totally understand, however, something is better than nothing, albeit, erroneous--through no falult of your own.  it helps with new releases as to what the expectation is.  Knowing that the film is going to be a limited release or arthouse film makes a difference, to me at least, when making the decision to purchase.  obviously, the star treks, spidermen, transformers, etc... of the world would be wide releases.
