people freak out too fast if it drops in price a bit
Some traders are not dumb to wait and see if they can get the IPO for a few bucks less. On a blue chip IPO like this, a drop in price creates demand, hence the pice I'm seeing now.
Instead of complaining about what the IPO's do, traders should observe their behaviour, try and predict it, and play accordingly, IMO. The 'unpredictability' is not all that unpredictable.

The way I see it, the point of limiting shares was to create a demand to buy a stock at IPO price rather than a higher price. Feb 19, 09:00
