HSD sent out a warning about a breach of passwords years ago (I forget exactly when) & advised everyone to change their pw then

I got rhe sort of email threats you describe for quite a while after that but they never did anything but be nuisance spam. Someone may have sold the stolen pw list to another bunch of sleazes who are trying to profit off them.
