One more possibility which should have occurred to me sooner: A transaction of 150,000 shares will not have as much effect on a stock with
many shares held (long or short, either way wouldn't matter) as a transaction the same size on a lesser held stock.

I don't know about that. As I recall the higher a moviestock's price the more it will be shifted by a trade <inside> Jun 27, 21:50
