this is basically the case. it was 90% lobo making sure it didn't die. He raised money through the community to keep things going
until Cantor re-engaged and provided support to keep thing going at the most basic level possible.
the only thing that bugs me about that whole process is the biggest trolls on the site never donated to keep it running. you can guess who they are. the ones who donated to keep it going when it was clear it was about to get shut down are the regular players that dont complain on the boards or try to self promote. just regular players. the biggest self promoters never donated. says a lot
lobo is still around. he has a successful business and a loving family so HSX when it was on the brink was really a passion thing for him. once it was clear it wasnt shutting down, he went back to his life. He's still lurking in case he needs to come back.
Cris is still around a lot. he posts. he's still his same brilliant beautifull self and one of the best players in the game.
