Description

The Australian film Ten Canoes was made entirely in the Aboriginal language Ganalbingu. Set nearly a thousand years ago in Australia, the film tells a story within a story about ten men with their ten canoes, three wives, and one hundred and fifty spears. The drama swept the top categories at the Australian Film Institute Awards.
