Description

A Thousand Years of Good Prayers is a heartfelt story of a generation and culture gap that brings love and understanding. A Chinese man travels to the U.S. to see his recently divorced daughter after twelve years. They have a hard time connecting at first but eventually soften up. The man also develops feelings for an Iranian woman. Wayne Wang directed with a script from Yiyun Li.
