Beloved movie mutt Benji stars in her newest big screen effort, Benji Returns. In the film, the scrappy dog must survive the mean streets of Mississippi to save her mother from a "backyard puppy mill" while avoiding dogcatchers and a new, persistent canine sidekick. The pic echoes the true story of the new, real Benji, who was rescued from an animal shelter in Gulfport, Mississippi. Benji films veteran Joe Camp writes and directs this latest incarnation from Mulberry Square.
